Company description

I am Margrita de Jong, owner of sole proprietorship ColourFlux Studio. I make illustrations and graphic designs for consumers and companies. In addition, I sell my own products, such as my own illustrations, prints and postcards. Various personal details are collected on the website. Comments

If you post a reaction under a post, article or page, the details of the reaction form will be saved: your name, e-mail address and possibly the website. In addition, the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent are stored to help detect spam.

Yourhosting

This website is hosted by Yourhosting. Your personal details are stored on the servers of Yourhosting. E-mails that you send to an e-mail address of ColourFlux Studio (e.g. contact@colourfluxstudio.com) are also stored on the servers of Yourhosting.

Google mail

Mails that you send to an e-mail address of ColourFlux Studio (e.g. contact@colourfluxstudio.com) will be forwarded to a Google mail (gmail) mailbox. Your personal data will therefore also be stored on Google’s mail servers.

WooCommerce

The webshop on this website is developed with software of the company WooCommerce. Personal data that you make available within the shop are shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide (technical) support, they will never use your data for another purpose. WooCommerce is, based on the agreement ColourFlux Studio has made with them, obligated to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy.

WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within the company to improve services.

Stripe

We use the Stripe platform to process some or all of the payments in our webshop. Stripe processes your name and address details, and your payment information, such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your data in order to improve its services and, as part of this, to share (anonymised) data with third parties.

In the case of a claim for a postponed payment (credit facility), Stripe shares personal data and information about your financial position with credit reference agencies. All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe’s services for which it engages third parties. Stripe will not retain your information for longer than is legally permitted.

PostNL

When you place an order in the shop, it is our job to deliver the package to you. ColourFlux Studio uses the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the purpose of executing the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.


Storing period

When you leave a reaction, that reaction and the metadata of that reaction will be saved forever. In this way we can automatically recognise and approve follow-up reactions instead of having to moderate them.

If you contact ColourFlux Studio, your details will be stored for a maximum of 4 years.


Security

No physical copies will be made of your personal data. Your data will only be managed in the previously mentioned systems and software.

The personal data managed by ColourFlux Studio or previously mentioned third parties are only accessible via the above software and are secured with a password and, where possible, two-step verification.

During this two-step verification, a code is generated from the software and sent to ColourFlux Studio. This code must be used during the login process.

The devices that access your data are also password-protected. The number of devices that have access to your data is limited to the devices needed.

Your visit to this website is secured with an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to the website is private. This is indicated by the lock in the address bar of the browser.

Comments you post are secured with reCaptcha (owned by Google). This keeps the website safe and spam free. At the bottom right of the website you will find the reCaptcha icon. There you can also find Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.


Rights

Right of access

You have the right at all times to request your details which are stored at ColourFlux Studio. You do this by sending an e-mail or contacting ColourFlux Studio by telephone. You will then receive an overview of your saved data.

Right of rectification

Are your details incorrect or have they changed? You have the right to have this rectified by ColourFlux Studio.

Right to transfer

Should you require data stored by ColourFlux Studio in the event of switching to another party or service, you have the right to transfer this data. In doing so, ColourFlux Studio must transfer all your data to the other party.

Right to delete data

Do you no longer want your data to be stored at ColourFlux Studio? Then you have the right to have your data deleted.

Right to file a complaint

You have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority if you feel that ColourFlux Studio is not handling your details correctly.

You can make use of these rights via contact@colourfluxstudio.com by sending a copy of an ID card, whereby the passport photo, ID card number and citizen service number have been made unreadable. ColourFlux Studio will contact you within one week.


Obligations

For example, your e-mail address is required to contact ColourFlux Studio if you have sent a message to ColourFlux Studio. If these mandatory details are not provided, ColourFlux Studio cannot offer the service in question.
