Besides commissioned illustrations and paintings, I also enjoy doing my own projects. This waterfall is one of those own projects. This waterfall painting is made at A2 size and I created it with watercolour paints on cold pressed watercolour paper.
In the summer of 2021, I did a very nice project, which was a painting of someone’s sports car in a The Fast & the Furious scene. Again, a very different commission than I had done before.
Two of my watercolour paintings of a Japanese and Chinese temple can be admired this month in an art studio in Rotterdam called City Art by artist Chris Ripken.
The report of my hike on the Great rivers trail, this time I hiked between Rozenburg and Maassluis in the Netherlands.
This illustration of a vase with an autumn bouquet was a commission assignment. It is my very own design. I think it turned out to be a nice illustration, in which I have applied my own illustration style.
The original painting of the Yuantong temple in Kunming, China. This is the second completed painting in a series of temples around the world.
A painting of an aerial view of Willemstad in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands. This painting was made on commission.
A dog portrait of two flat coated retrievers made with watercolour paints.
How nice it would be if you could capture your most beautiful holiday memories. Not tucked away in a photo book or on your computer, but in a prominent place in your home, allowing you to retrieve the memories every time you see it. This is possible with a personalised map of your holiday destination! Your memories, photos and places where you have been, captured in a painting.
This is a painting of the Byodo-In temple in Kahaluu, island O’ahu, Hawaii. This temple is a replica of the Byodo-in temple in Uji, Japan. This is my personal project which I want to expand into a series of temples at different locations around the world.
